The Forest Trading Post.

Our team, in no particular order.

Chris Gibson.

The long suffering owner, usually confused and not normally quite so smartly dressed as in the photo.

But, I thought I would use the picture just to show that I do smarten up ... sometimes.

After over 25 years in business has finally learnt not to argue with a woman especially if it's the manageress.

I usually work only a few hours a day as the staff have been with me for many years and can run the shop possibly a lot better when I am not there !!

Karen Jenkins.

Karen first started to work for me many years ago when she was 15. Over the years she has done most of the jobs in the shop.

As manageress she runs the business and also is responsible for all the buying.

Karen has two children and in her spare time enjoys rallying. In 2011 she won a national top co-driver for ladies award against stiff competition.

She compete's on the Wyedean Rally most years and this year will be doing a few selected events around the country.

Lynn Kear.

Lynn has been with us for many years.
Normally found buried deep in the flowers, her influence can be found over most of the shop with her attractive displays.

Lynn is married with two children and is also a school governor

Something of a country girl, she enjoys caravanning and has a small flock of hens to provide eggs for all that home cooking.

Charlotte Bovill-Baker.

Charlotte, when not helping around the shop, can usually be found behind the till and wearing some serious ear gear.

She enjoys reading all the gossip and when it gets dark she can be found out and about with her friends.

Charlotte enjoys going to the gym and is keen on kick boxing.

Laura Barnard.

Laura normally works on the tills and also looks after our kitchen department.

Laura is currently taking her A levels and hopes to continue on to university with either business studies or a teaching course.

She is a keen swimmer at likes nothing better than curling up with a good book.

Lorraine Turner.

Lorraine, married with two children lives only a stone's throw from our shop.

A keen cook with a special love of baking cakes, she is also a lover of books preferring a good crime or horror novel.

When not reading or cooking she enjoys long walks in this wonderful countryside that surrounds us.

Karen Jenkins, Manageress.
